Lahore Qalandars favorite to win PSL 2021 Title
Former Pakistani test cricketer Bazid Khan was named by Lahore Qalandars on Saturday as the favorite to win the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) title in the sixth tournament.
Now talking to the 39-year-old Geo Super who is now the chief commentator of PSL cricket, he said that Qalandars have all the factors to become a championship champion.
He said: “After checking their [Lahore Qalandars] team, I realized that they have everyone they need for a successful combination.”
“Looking at this team, you can’t say that other people like to win the championship. They have the strongest bowling lineup in the game; if they hit the ball well, then Lahore will go well and seek the title.”
The commentator also admitted that it is now the most popular T20 tournament growth in the country. He said that PSL grows with each season and its excitement is also increasing.
“Every year more top players join the league. Every year we see new celebrations in the tournament, which shows that PSL is growing every year,” he said.
Regarding the importance of the league, Khan said that this provides an important stage for players’ attention.
“You perform here and get all the attention. This is important not only for players whose goal is to come back but also for others who want to knock in the selection door. This game is important because your performance here will not be ignored “The former cricketer added.
