Quetta Gladiators VS Multan Sultans
The 25th game of the 2020 Pakistan Super League (PSL) between Quetta Gladiator and Sultan Multan was canceled on Wednesday as intermittent rains hit Lahore.
Earlier in the day, the Pakistan Meteorological Agency (PMD) said it expected rains to increase in Lahore at night.
A statement on the PMD website said: “Every Wednesday to Friday is expected to have strong winds, rain and thunderstorms in all areas of Punjab.”
The pitch was covered and ground crews were busy clearing the fence.
It is worth mentioning that so far, bad weather and wet field have completely canceled one game and affected several other games in the 2020 PSL competition.
The performance of the gladiators has been below standard this season. They scored six points in eight games at the bottom of the points table.
On the other hand, the Sultans, who made their debut just before two versions, led the standings with 11 points in seven games. The Sultan won five games and lost only once, and one of them failed without any results.
When the two teams faced each other for the last time in the game, Rilee Rossouw rioted and scored 44 goals in the century, bringing Sudan to the top of the list.

Sudan will once again rely on Rossouw and Shan Masood, the captain who has driven him out of Multan.
Imran Tahir was very impressed in the bowling department. So far he has picked 10 wickets, while veteran Sohail Tanvir has picked seven.
Teams like Quetta and Shane Watson, led by Sarfaraz Ahmed, have another strong lineup, scoring 181 times this season and Jason · Jason Roy is the Gladiator’s top scorer, scoring 233 times in eight games.
Junior pacemaker Mohammad Hasnain leads the bowling list with the best performance of 4-25 with 14 wickets in eight games.
There are only two games left in the league stage, including this one, and the Gladiators must make sure they all win before they advance to the playoffs.
