South Africa to host England, Sri Lanka, Australia and Pakistan in 2020-21 home season

The season of all bumper series has just kicked off, and everything goes smoothly after the completion of IPL 2020. Cricket South Africa (CSA) announced an important 2020-21 international season.

The Proteas team will host England, Sri Lanka, Australia and Pakistan in the same order. According to CSA regulations, all lamps related to this series will become part of the ICC Cricket World Cup Super League (CWCSL) or ICC World Test Championship (WTC).

According to the latest announcement, there will be three games of the T20I series and many ODIs for England this season. The two series will be held in Cape Town and Pal. After successfully reaching the series with the British team, the host country will host Sri Lanka’s two test matches at Centurion and Johannesburg in the “traditional Boxing Day and New Year’s test schedule window”.

After publishing this information, Australia will land in South Africa in February 2021 for a three-match test series. This is followed by the ODI and T20I series of three games in April. CSA will still announce the complete lamps for all these family series.

All games in South Africa will be played behind closed doors
Kugandrie Govender, the acting CEO of CSA, is pleased to announce this season. He also praised the people working behind the scenes to make it possible and cleared all situations where the game will take place after the gate is closed. “We are pleased to announce the schedule of this season’s men’s international cricket match. After confirming the tour to England last week and the start of this season, we are very happy to deliver more good news to fans who love cricket.

“The COVID-19 pandemic is expected to force many changes in the ICC Future Travel Program (FTP) and the traditional ordering of South African volleyball matches this season. That’s why I am especially proud of today’s announcement.

“This is due to hours of dedication, negotiation, and hard work by the people behind the scenes to ensure that our fans have an exciting cricket lineup throughout the summer, even though this game will be played behind closed doors. There will be enough entertainment opportunities to make them feel as if they are part of the game day event.” India Today quoted him as saying.
